Coffee to Water Ratio: 1:12 - 1:13

Grind: Medium Fine

The Process:

  1. Start with your Aeropress inverted. Plunger will be at the #4 mark.

  2. Fill Aeropress with 18g of coffee.

  3. Start a stopwatch, and fill the Aeropress with hot water. Bloom & gently stir.

  4. Top off Aeropress with more water, for a total of about 225g, and put the cap on.

  5. At 1:45, carefully flip Aeropress onto a mug or carafe.

  6. Spin the water to get grounds off the plunger, and push down slowly.

  7. Total brew time will be between 2:15 and 2:30.
